I Got Some Bn's

well i have an empty 30 gallon and i never really knew what fish to put in it

well for the time being, i have 3 bn plecos and they have it all to thereselves i don't know exactly how to sex them but im pretty sure i have one male and 2 females

ItÆs pretty easy to spot the "Dads" from the "Mums", as the males develop a wonderful set of bushy bristles around their top lip which extends up the middle of their face, while the females seem to occasionally grow shorter bristles around their top lip, but never down the middle of the face like the males.
