I got my Suvatti!!!!

I got him, I named him Spud. I would post pics but I don't have a cable that takes images from my phone and puts them on the computer.

He's great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He buries himself in the sand so only his eyes and mouth poke out!

I fed him some river shrimp (gut loaded with spiritula tabs). He's still not taking dead food - I spent hours making a mussel dance around on a piece of string, but only vague interest and certainly no eating. I put a live bloodworm on it, and he ate that, taking a piece of mussel with it, but he spat out the mussel and paid no more attention to it. anyone got any advice? I will persevere.

You said it: persevere and eventually he should take the dead food, when he's hungry enough.

If he's already had some river shrimp, he may not have been hungry enough to take the mussel, they don't eat musch because they're so inactive.
