Here is it 2 mins into my tank, but theres a worry straight away..
I saw during acclimation time some of the tenticles were redish brown with still purple tips but like size of when most LPS corals close up in the dark

Please dont tell me its bad...
They were feeding it chopped cockles and mussles once every 2 days.

Edit, here is a better pic of it.

I also just fed it some chopped cockles which it accepted and all its mouths opened well, that a good sign?

Looks like its still acclimating to your tank, give it some time to settle in :good:

Did you notice on the skeleton if it was clearly cut or fragged anywhere? That would clearly identify it as a maricultured coral.

No, but i had a look and well im not sure, unless it was cut and not sold for a long time at TMC cos i do know this one came from TMC.

This morning its got same size tenticles? that good? how ever its not fully opened out onto the sand yet.
And when you say they are just getting used to the water, im still bit worried they are like it this morning plus some of the green tents have a line of red going up them....

Sorry just so scared right now until i know its ok.

Here are some more pics this morning.

Can you still see the dark area...

I'd still call that healthy looking.

So there are no parts of the skeleton with an un-naturally straight edge to it? interesting.

Cool, well today it ate a third of a cube of cockles to my amazment. The skeleton is like a double cone ice cream if you know what i mean. Tbh i think i need to give it at least a month to see if its still healthy then u know cos they usually die within weeks.

Agreed. Ironically my LFS just got in three identical color morphs to yours yesterday. I'm tellin ya, somebody's mariculturing them somewheres.

OH NO! i came home from work today at 2pm to check it it was fine was out nicely. Then ive just got home and its gone all into its skeleton!

It has opend more widly and still feeding on cockles.

Elegance corals can have blotches or strange coloration patterns on their flesh, especially near the tentacles so that's probably normal there. Looking better today. Just keep water stable and keep your fingers crossed :). Just an FYI, mine has a "bad day" about every month or so where its just shriveled up and looking sorely. Usually within 1-2 days though its back to its usual health. Not sure what its doing, but it seems normal/cyclical
