One of my old co-workers was going to throw away 2 large pieces of driftwood. one piece I gave to my broter-in-law for his snakes and one I kept for myself. This thing is gonna be great in my 46. It's been soaking since sunday and still wants to float hence the bricks.

It's got tons of nooks and crannies for fish to hide plus the main sort stalk of it is a hollow tube basically from the bottom left of the pic to the top left the fish could completely swim through it

only a few more days of soaking and de-chlorinating.

The piece sticking out of the water I have to break off so it'll fit in the tank. but I'm sure I'll eventually find a home for that little chunk

That's a very cool piece of wood! My only thoughts are now that you haven't bathed since you got it and there's no telling when that thing will "sink". Must be getting a little gamey at your place.

ALASKA

Just pokin' fun (probably cuz I wish that wood was MINE) :p

fortunately we have 2 full baths in my place :p

today I noticed it wasn't bobbing back up as fast as it did the other day so I'm figuring at the latest friday it should be able to stay sunk an I can start treating the other chunks of wood that are going into the tank.

great deal you got there ;)

nice looking peice of wood too
