I think SRC was most likely confused because Thai is an adjective, not a noun :) You can speak Thai, be Thai, and eat Thai food at a Thai restaurant, but you can't live in it; you can, however, live in Thailand (if you so choose).

Edited to put in the right name :*)

Wow that will be a really amazing trip :) Are you going to check out the rice paddies at all? They're supposed to be a pretty amazing sight.

Before you bring any fish back with you, though, just to be on the safe side you might want to check out what importation laws are like. They might have specific instructions about how fish can be packaged, transported etc. if they're permitted on passenger planes at all. Be sure to show us what you bring back

Wait, what? I posted on this thread?
Either you mean someone else, or now I'm REALLY confused, because I did originally read it as her mother being from Thailand :look:

...and if I posted on this thread before my post apparently disappeared?

Synirr, I think Andie just confused you with SRC, that's all. She probably just saw the username started with 'S' and the signature was chock-full of bettas and made a mistake.

Anyway, the whole subject of this thread is meant to be creetins' new betta... not adjectives or whatever. :p So..

He sounds like a beautiful betta! True halfmoons are really rare, as are yellow bettas! Maybe you could ask a friend to borrow their camera? I really wanna see pics.... have you decided on a name for him yet?

That's what happened. :*) Sorry, Synirr (and sorry, Jennie, for not giving you credit for your original post!). That's the last time I post anything at the end of a workday
