I currently have 4 denisoni barbs and 20 blue tetras acclimating in buckets with drip siphons :hyper: :hyper:

Pictures to follow :good: :D

I have been looking at them - are they actually any good? What is the packaging like?

Oh and when your ordering multiple fish it says they can combine shipping costs, after you have bought all your fish dont you still get charged postage for each one?

Fish came double bagged with bag buddies, with a heat pack and lots of newspaper in a poly box. Delivery before 12, they showed up about 9.20am.

Postage is £12, unless you buy more than one lot pc fish, then it's £15. If you're unsure then after you've bought you can request a combined invoice. Although ebay purchase history lists the original postage price when you look at the listings, if you click pay now then it has the combined postage as it should be. Then you just send them a message to say when you want delivery.

Fish are about what I would expect. The blues have some nipped fins, but they are that kind of fish so I'm not remotely surprised. The barbs have come out great - colouring up nicely and no damage.

In terms of service it was exactly as I expected. The communication is average at best, but stock is good, and packaging was excellent.

Plus you struggled to find the blues so if you got them then a few nipped fins that should recover is worth it.

Packaging sounds excellent!

i went to their shop and got some blue applesnails and amano shrimps they do have interesting fish if you can find them, their show room is far from the best, its not surprising their main business is online, having said that the fish looked quite healthy, its just tanks are everywhere, there is limited lighting, and nothing is very clean, i wonder if they just buy and sell the fish so fast on ebay they dont have to worry about keeping them for long. They have one pair of electric blue rams, again not the best but ok, there was a sign on the tanks saying sold, and an add on ebay saying they have lots, they probably order them as they get sold and ship as soon as, they did have tanks full of guppies, tetras etc again if you could make out what was what. di

I've been repeatedly unimpressed with the communication. Twice before I've contacted with questions about the stock and been ignored. This time when I got a reply it was to the standard I was expecting: lack of punctuation and very abrupt. Alright they've got a thriving online store, but manners cost nothing...

However, as I said, in terms of the stock and delivery, it was good, going to water change on both tanks today.

hmm the shop is like a shed at the back of a house, with posting boxes all thrown in a heap by the entrance and subject to the weather, when i first went there i was discusted with the state of the place, but have to admit i cant find the same choice of fish elsewhere and the quality isnt too bad.

I'm glad your happy with them I've seen a pair of cobalt blue dwarf gourami with them but was abit unsure of buying from eBay but I really love the colour :) may have to get some now

aww you should've said Craig, you could've shared postage!  this is becoming a bit of a thing we do now isn't it lol!

I've been umming and arring about buying fish from them.

As for the state of the place - there used to be a place called Fish Inc in sheffield. Unfortunately it recently shut down. It was a shed/warehouse in a scruffy little industrial estate in the middle of a residential area. Dimly lit, kinda rough looking, but the tanks were clean, and the stock was amazingly healthy, and as for choice - SPOILT. I'm gutted it's shut down :(

I'm wanting some unusual male guppys, but I think they're the kind of thing you should see and pick out in person :(

Glad they're all well though :) can you post a pick? I'd love to see 20 schooling neon tetras in a home tank :D

Happy for you! :good: I love getting new fish but I've run out of space and am overstocked. :( Wish I could get that beautiful 150 gallon I saw the other day!
