I Found A Worm In My Fish Flakes

There was a small brown worm in my flake packet (the "starter" one that came with my tank), unfortunately I can't seem to find any info anywhere on the net about it so I think I am going crazy. I don't know how it got in there because the packet is always folded closed after use.

Strangely, a while ago I also found a large brown chunk from the packet, I didn't know what it was but now that I recollect, it was mostly likely a dead worm!

These are Top Fin (Petsmart brand) flakes. Suffice the say the last one I will use.

Has anyone ever encountered something like this?
