I was going into the front room to check on my aquarium when I noticed something moving around in the top left corner of the aquarium. It was a baby peacock gudgeon! It doesnt have any color or markings yet but Im super excited to know that at least one egg made it! My mom named it Nemo cause as far as we know, he is the only survivor of that batch of eggs lol... When I saw it I got out the breeder box from the QT tank that had baby java ferns in there and got the net as well... I thought I scooped it out of the tank but I didnt see it in the breeder box... I then took the net and waved it in the water quickly to see if anything would come out but nothing did... I also inspected the net to make sure it wasnt caught up in there... I then laid my net into the QT tank and started looking into the main tank and breeder box. I started removing the baby java ferns from the breeder box while shaking them of into there and then placing them into my net... I havent seen him since the first time spotting him. Im hoping he/she will just pop up.
