really skint so i've not been the lfs for well over a month, had to pop in for some dechlor and got persuaded

they had a really lovely big torch coral for £30 and we've been after one for ages, really couldn't afford to spend that much, but he said it came in so big he fragged it, had them priced up for £15, he sold me the biggest for £10 and gave me 5 amano shrimp for the price of 3. he must have missed us

not got any pics for you just yet but thought i'd let you know cos i'm well chuffed with it, so wiggly and wobbly and cool!

he also bizzarley had a banded cat shark egg that had came in with the order (he wouldn't order anything like that himself) that he said he was going to grow on while he looked for a proper home for it in a public aquarium or something like that, he was having a right moan as one of his colleagues had sold it to someone. poor little thing, i can't imagine anyone having a tank big enough for that

metallic green i think it's called, got sort of browny/greeny/yellowy tentacly bits (what are they called actually?!) with bright green tips

do my best to get some soon, our home pc is alegedly being fixed tonight so then i can get some pics later in the week and post them.

got a new (well Ian's dad's old) camera that's 6 megapixels, and therefore twice as good as our old one so i want to try it out

Aye i saw the banded shark at Wharf the other day, cant believe its been sold (if it is that one) the tank needed must be huge.

nup not wharf, just my local fish place

aye my mate who runs it was well pissed off that one of his colleagues sold it, like i said he wanted to hatch it himself, had something like a 6'x2'x2' to grow it on in and was going to hopefully send it to the blue planet aquarium when it got too big for him. he went to show me the egg and it had gone, not on that anyone sold it really as i can't imagine any of the customers who go there have a big enough tank for it.
