I have finally made my mind up. I am going to get 1 male duarf puffer, and 2 female duarf puffers. With all your guy's posts I've read I am going to use decorations for my tank. I am also hoping to get a bristle nose pleco. I'm still gonna get the blue background. I want my theme to look sort of like I'm using salt water. I'm getting my fish in 5 days. My tank has been cycling for 3.5 weeks now. I will post more on how its going. I'm so happy!!!

If its on keeping puffers then I strongly recommend the two puffer topics pinned in the oddballs section, they have a lot of VERY useful information.

are dwarf puffers agressive could i put 1-2 in wwith guppies balloon mollies and cardinal tetras

yeah, alyough they are only 1'' big they are real fin nippers, I heard you should only have slow moving fish so the puffers don't get stressed and the fish should be big and with not that big of fins, you wouldn't want to ruin a nice fish's fins.

i say leave the Puffers all alone, they'll prefer not having things that irritate them and probably show more fishonality like you'd expect a Betta or Oscar to do!

and i'm very glad you decided to decorate the tank, how are you doing so? color coded, random, Feng Shui, Golden Section, it's really a complicated aquascaping business out there!

i'd suggest no live plants around the Puffs' though, they'll lunge at the snails on the leaves and leave holes everywhere. though you should provide snails!

For a saltwater look, try a blueish fluro like the aquastar tropical 10000k. It gives a real nice light blueish look to the water.
