I.d. These Fish Please

i bought a few of these when they were babies as johannii--not sure now, they are around 3 inches now....any ideas please

i didnt--these are different fish--these are more orange than yellow...anyone any ideas??? i have 10 of them but a couple are starting to get dark stripes although these are faded im wondering if they are males starting to colour up

Could be Johanni yes, as they have the slight whiteish markings appearing. Their face looks similar to a saulosi mind you. Have to wait to see if any change to the male colouration

thanks mate,,,i thought they were johanni but they were more reddy/orange than yellow if you know what i mean

Johanni usually get there horizontal stripes begining to appear at around 2" even if there just faint.
