I.d On Live Rock.

Hello guys, just a quick one. I have had the tank up an running about a month now. I have a bit of live rock, but not all I want. On one piece is quite a few little red bubbles. They are mostly clumped together in about 3 bubbles of no more than half an inch each. Anyone know what these are?

Oh yeah, they sting too. I was stung by them while placing the rock where I wanted it, and before I had seen them. They carry quite a punch

lol sounds like zooanthids then, check my thread called zooanthid i have the same a clump of bubble looking things but brown not red and on other side of rock there fully grown. anyway check the thread out cus theres 2 things it could be wich are listed on the thread

If it stung you, chances are they're anemones instead of zoanthids

Yeah stung me an really hurt actually. They look like if u squeezed them they would burst. A deep red as well rather than a dull browny colour. I will check ur thread now, thx.
