I Couldn't Help It!

Well, I now have 8 bettas I innocently went to the LFS today, and they had a HUGE brand new shipment in. This was the largest shipment of bettas they had ever had. I even saw a few that have been there for several months, so I decided to get one of them before they died.

The one I rescued that had been there forever, I believe to be a mustard gas. I also got a pretty blue/black boy that has many spots, a chocolate, and what I think is a celophane. I'm hoping it really is a celophane - he is still settling in, so there might be a color change in the future. But as of right now his body is a very light, almost white flesh color, and his fins are completely colorless and transparent, with a slight mother of pearl sheen. Gorgeous!

Here are some pics of my new bettas.
Starting off with Sinbad, the celophane one.

Next is the chocolate one, at least I'm pretty sure he is chocolate.
His name is Killian.

Then we have Jack. His entire body has the same blue/violet/black jeweled color as a jack dempsy cichlid, thus his name.

I went to Petsmart today and saw 3 cellophanes . Are they getting popular all of a sudden or what?

what have you got them housed in, I bet it is warmer where you are it is freezing in uk today

I have them housed in separate 1g tanks. It's nice and toasty in my house, but outside it's freezing. We are in the middle of winter here in Kentucky, and it stays around freezing just about all the time - snowed last night actually.
