A Stork came and ate all of my 35 goldfish!! :-( nooo d****. took them forever to get big and it ate all there babies :-( we r hoping there might be some babies, left. our pond was cloudy for about a week and 2 days ago we saw a stork fly away from our pond, and i would lay fish food ou afterwards out and the fish never came, again today we try feeding them they never came, so my mom to the net and swirled it around it the water and behind the plants... nothing. we r not sure if there still in there or all gone or what the water is to cloudy. :rip: i hope we still have them or any left

im just hoping they all might still be in there hidding somehow. but slim chance

Sorry this happened.

You could try creating a greenhouse-type building to keep them out. I'm not sure how cheap this would be and how feasible (seeing as how it'd overheat the pond or keep the light out). Unfortunately that's all I can suggest.

I hope you find some of the kids. Good luck with your next batch. :D

A Stork came and ate your goldfish? That's rough. If I would have saw a stork eat my fish I would smack it with a broom :hey: . I am glad I live in Anaheim,CA there aren't any storks around here, only smog in the air. Oh, but well do have alot of tourist (I live right next to Disney Land) (Dang tourist  don't know how to drive.) Enough ranting. Sorry for your lost.

Sorry to hear that, I find the best solution is fishing wire, tie it taught across the pond at 12" intervals. Then if the Stork comes it will hit into these wire that it can't see and become stressed and fly away. They like wading in the water and when theres something stopping them they are not happy.
