African Butterflyfish?

eh?
huh?
well?
I did some reading and I have definately enough places to hide, just wondering if any one has had them and some experiences?
And how many can I get?
I have the room

I have experience of 'fish'sitting' this fish!! I actually quite liked them!
They are not particularly unusual I would say but they are different.
Not sure on the number you should get as not sure how they react to oneanother with age.
There was only one in the tank i was looking after!
They are quite pretty though...although I was hoping for more butterfly quailities (and no I don't mean the ability to fly before anyone says anything!!)

my son [ Dwarfs ] keeps 2 in a 55 g , he had another , we think it jumped , was a little one ............think the cat got it , cuz we looked all over and never found it ............230 g , you could have several , they like to conceal themselves in plants , the floating kind we have plastic for ours , water sprite would be a good choice , they almost never come down from the tanks surface .
Ours eat crickets , krill , , even seen them eat cichlid sticks .[ food needs to float , they rarely go after sinking foods ]

You need a good lid , if you don't already have one , they jump when spooked ;)

Well done lucky 62!! Much better than my reply! They are lovely actually and being a surface dweller provides interest at that level!
What are you thinking earthgirl? do u think you'll go for it!?!? I'd love pictures if you do!
