I Can See The Eyes!

My platty is pregnant for her second pregnancy (with me anyway...). She was large when I first bought her, but I never saw a single fry. I figured she birthed them and my fan tail goldfish (the thing is HUGE at over 5in) ate them like she did with my molly fry. But now I am suspecting that she aborted, as I never saw her square off, and never saw the fry eyes through her gravid spot.

Shes large again and I can see the little fry eyes! Its so exciting! I never saw them with my molly (you could never see a gravid spot either). It just made it so much more real! Shes really got fry in her belly

About how long after you start to see the eyes is it until she should deliver? I think shes around week 3 of her pregnancy. Shes ginormous! But not squared off. But I can see her birthing tube.... Im confused...

i think when they are ready to give birth (where the babies come out) it becomes slightly bigger. the hole part i mean. you can always separate her and then the babies should survive.

I'm at the exact same stage with my red tuxedo guppy... very round, eyes, birthing tube and somewhere between normal and squared... was sure mine would square off yesterday and still nothing.
