i just found my favorite female dried up on the floor. she jumped out of the breeding tank last night. i checked on her before i went to bed at 12:30 and she must have jumped soon after that. never lost a betta due to jumping before. she would eat from my hand and was the friendliest betta i had. :byebye:

sooo sorry to hear that, it is a risk that these cute lil fish take when they think they can jump and survive. mayb try a lid on the tanks, even if it is just overnight when your not around to keep an eye out for jumping fish. :rip:

Sorry For Your loss.

I agree with Carolinesugar, I don't trust any fish not to jump out as many of them are capable of it and will if they get the chance. I've nearly lost a few fish myself that way. I'm sorry to hear about what happened  though it's nice to hear you had such a good relationship with your fish.

thanks yall. i will never find another like her. she had one of the greatest body shapes ive ever seen in a female betta and she had the greatest personality too.
