Just been browsing ebay and came across this 150631246380 now i am seriously considering making an offer and try to save these 23! males housed in a 2ft tank

I am probablt going to get killed for even considering this, but the fish deserve better than this!

If i do get them i would nurse them back to health then look at adopting them out to good homes.

I can't believe anyone would do this!

Shocking! No filter, no heater, males in together. I can't see the pic very well on my phone but looks like bacterial bloom! I'm amazed fish are still alive!!

they do look VERY tatty i am really hoping they except my offer, i messaged them saying i was an experienced keeper and could give these fish everything they needed and i could come fetch them Sunday as there 10miles from me.

I really hope they do except (have offered what i would pay for the tank alone)

it states 23 fish but i can only count 16

Did you get these? The person who owns them seems as they have no clue in fish keeping at all. Probably only brought it all because they "look good". Wouldn't supprise me if the water is tap water!

We are currently bouncing back offers he wants what i actually offered but i think i could get it less with no heater filter (which i have spares! but he don't know that!)

He said theres 22-23 fish dispite me and Caz only counting 16

OMG I've never seen anything like it. The poor things look in some state. Sounds like all he's after is money, he doesn't care about them. I hope to god you get them and can try and save some.

i'd be happy if 1 survived from this to be honest, need to have a word with the parents, well the mother she loves these lil guys as much as me

I am hoping i can fetch them tomorrow, just waiting for my parents to come back from there holiday as i can't drive

Yeah that's why I haven't messaged him, we don't want him knowing we're all discussing him. See if you can get them first. Tbh he should just be asking for something for the tank and that's it.

I would love to know why he put so many in a tank together, how long he's had them in there and who the hell sold them to him
