ooo its too hard to understand early in the morning! lol I automatically clicked on the first one and was like "wait a minute..... somethings different, am i on the right forum?" im just so used to the layout i know where everything is without looking at the titles lol.

Hi pica- I'd be interested to hear some of the chronic complaints?

Our thoughts on the previous name were the same as you guys, hopefully it should be less intimidating and reduce some of the 'new to the hobby' posts which appear in other sections on the forum.

not *my* chronic complaints. but about every 3 weeks, someone starts up a thread saying either (1) we should be nicer to new people, (2) we should be nicer to inexperienced people, or (3) people should recognize the difference between post count and fish-keeping experience.

i agree with the theory that changing the name reduces the stigma of posting "entry-level" questions in that forum. i also think that moving the link so that it's above Chat will increase the usage of the New to Hobby forum for all the basic questions clogging up Chat. so again, kudos!
