ok so I was looking at my leaves on the polysperma and notice holes in the leaves and dark brown rings around them. I was just wondering if anyone knew what that problem was and how I can get rid of it.

My tank right now is a 20 gallon with 15 watts of power... which I know is low so I bought a 48 gallon with a 48" power compact light with 2x65 watt 6700K lamps :D

Is the plant new to the aquarium? Many of my plants have looked on the virge of death during their transition into the aquarium, but after a few weeks they establish themselves and srat to take off. I've seen many mebers suggest when introducing new plants to the tank to trim much of the old leaves and roots back allowing for the new growth to begin sooner.

Potassium-----------Small dead areas appear in older leaves. These can start
like little pinpoints and grow. In some species, like
Ceratopteris, the older leaves stay green while the little
dead spots grow. The new leaves are reduced in size and
leaf area, looking a bit 'singed'. In other species the
older leaves can turn yellow before they die, but they do
not have green persisting along the major veins as in
magnesium deficiency.
