just fitted said item, and it dont half vibrate and rattle
are they supposed to be this loud or is it just me
its as loud if not probably more louder than my airpump

i think youve got one from the 'dodgy' batch which were missing washers like i did...email them and ask them for the washers...but i would unplug and plug in a again and then give it a shake under water to get rid of any air, they are normally noisy for up to 24 hours after pluggin in for the first time...but if it persists, email hydor

yes as truck said it could be dodgy, mine are pretty much silent.

Just had a look now the propeller is like on a magnet, no washers iv just fiddeled with it put it back together and bosch

yeah the impeller will be a magnet...its how the motor works...the coils in the motor are constantly changing polarity so the magnet on the impeller will be attracted to either side and spins
