i was just looking at the Hydor prime 10 external filter.

Just wondering if anyone has got or had the hydor's and are they any good please?

Brilliant filters, they are tested with media and pipes, so they are the real flow shown. I love mine, it's silent, great flow, although they don't have baskets, they have good room for media. I really can't fault mine. I have the Hydor Prime 30.

Do they come supplied with media?

they come with sponges, floss and carbon. I cut the main sponge in half as it's massive. It then made room for old media. I was surprised with the amount of room actually. I got all the media from the APS 1000 in the filter and still had room for more. I'm really suprised these filters aren't used more by fish keepers.
