It seems pretty cool, albeit a bit pricey (about $50 US). It's a four-in-one heater/filter/aerator/pump. I'm considering a 5 to 10 US gallon tank (for a male betta) with a minimal amount of wires, and this looks ideal. It's also relatively low maintenance, unlike the Bio-Wheels and such. I also seem to prefer internal filters since they won't leak all over your desk or floor if it gets backed up, unlike an external H.O.T. or H.O.B. power filter.

Here's an animation of how it works:

Putting price aside, what do you think of it? Would it be wise to get an all-in-one unit? Or should I just get a separate sponge/corner filter and heater instead?

Yep I have the 350 it dose a good job the airation part is too noisy for my liking and I don't use that, however it produces good waterflow and my danios love swimming agaisnt the current,

Hydor also make these for Interpet which are, in the UK 2/3rd the price for the same thing.

Thanks for the reply.

How noisy is the aeration? I didn't know you could turn it off. Is the current too strong for a betta?

You can turn the airation "off" by not connecting the air tube. there is also a valve thing that comes with it so you can adjust the ammount of air being drawn into the pump; however I never got the hang of that and just took the whole thing off.

Sorry never had experiance with betters so I don't know if they need currents or not?
