Hydor Co2 Systems

I used to have one they are the biggest waste of money ever, it may seen quite a cheap system to start off with but replacing the bottles more than once a month makes it very expensive in the long run, its quite difficult to get a constant flow rate to.

mine and many other peoples systems ended up failing and dumping the entire contents of a bottle in a few secs, spend a bit more money to begin with and get a better system.

Try the nutrafin co2 system. everyone on here seems to rave about them and personally mine is pretty good, only had it up and running 4 days though

Yeh that system is expensive, and only really effective on small tanks, under say 10g. You can get much better systems for the same money and which are easier to get refills for.

thanks for the replys

the only reason i looked at them is because i work away quite a bit so a yeast mixture would be a bit difficult to keep consistant as for the pressurized system the wife put a stop to that as she doesnt want the cannister in the livin room because of the kids, so i thought i could squeeze the hydor kit into the cupboard underneath
