firstly you should find out if you have a "true" rummynose tetra or a firehead tetra. I'm guessing the latter.

either way, as with most tetras, females tend to be more rotund in comparrison to the male. although this is by no means difinative.

Go to http/www.google.com/ and click on the images section and type in fire head tetra then compare it to your fish then type in rummy nose tetras and compare it to your fish.

Being on "mod queue" means you can continue to post as often as you like on all boards, but your posts/threads will not be visible to anyone other then yourself and mods. A mod will have to read, and approve your post before it becomes visible.

People put on "mod queue" have been placed in such a state because their posting has been deemed to be outside of the norms accepted by the owner and staff of the forums in general. Mod queue status can be set for a specific period, or indefinitely.

Mod queue is an effective way of preventing trolls and habitual rule breakers.

Some forums, the Fish Index for example, are on permenant mod queue.

we have 6 rummynose tetras.....well we thought they were but they are actually fireheads but gorgeous all the same we have 3 f & 3 males & the females are as said much rounder & deeper in their bellies if you see the two sexes together its easy to see the difference
