How to Work out Gal in a tank Please

please can any one tell me how to work out how meany gal a tank can hold. the tank in questune is a 24 x 8 x 9 but id still like to know how to work it all out.

Multiply cubic inches by .004329 to get US Gallons. Your cubic inches come from length x width x depth if you needed that bit...

For UK gallons: legth x width x height in inches and divide by 276

For Litres (more accurate IMO): legth x width x height in cm and divide by 1000

Don't know how to make it any easier than earlier stated. Just multiply your length by your width by your height and you'll come up with a figure in cubic inches. Take that number and multiply it by .004329 and you'll have US Gallons.

What kind of units are you looking for? UK Gallons, US Gallons, litres...???

No offense but it's not exactly hard!

I hate maths but even I can bring up the calculator on my pc or use my phone to multiply a few numbers together and divide by another.
