How To Store Live Rock?

hello all..

i am starting a nano tank.. my friend gave me some nice live rocks but the problem they are a big pieces for my nano. can any one tell me what is the best way to store them in case i wanted to start a bigger tank or my friend starts another tank?

You can always break the larger pieces into small pieces But if your going to store it, get one of those big tubs and fill it up with mixed saltwater, put a heater and a powerhead.

Get a hammer and chisel and use it right now! not much point leaving it lying around. If there is simply too much for your nano tank then all you need to store live rock is a large plastic tub, a powerhead (or 2) and some salt water. stay on top of the salinity and thats all that needs to be done unless it is uncured in which case you just need to add a skimmer to the equation.
