How To Stop Breeding

Hi

I'm soon to be getting 3 angelfish, however, i don't have the space for them to breed. So my question is, how do i keep Angelfish, but not have them breeding.

Trouble with that, is that angels are almost impossible to sex.

I'm afraid three is about the worst number you can try and keep angels in; two will just pick on the third. Really you need either 6+ or a mated pair.

Even if they did breed, the chances of them raising the eggs to fry into juvis is pretty slim in a community tank.

+1 to fluttermoth's advice on numbers as well.

Thanks for the advice. I've decided i will get 5, and not help the eggs along in the tank, so hopefully wont get any fry.

Being over-run with fry is not really the problem with breeding angels; the problem is the aggression you get from a breeding pair taking over the tank.
