the zoascame on thesame rock but as they;re all growing the zoasare being covered by the riccordea. since that the zoas have become longer to catch the light. I could if possible seperate them and give them their own rock

search youtube mate, theres loads of videos of zoa fragging. gotta be craeful tho as they can give you a nice toxic sting. So your meant to wear safety glasses and gloves.

As ben said check out youtube as there are a lot of great videos on how to do it. Definitely be very, very careful fragging zoas. All zoas contain palaytoxin to some degree and this is the second most lethal organic substance known to man apparently.

Make sure you wear gloves and eye protection, I would even go as far as saying to get one of them dust masks to covers your mouth and nose too. When you finished make sure you wash your hands thoroughly.

Sounds like overkill and it probably is but for the sake of a few precautions its not worth risking it.

cheers for that I think I will just leave them and buy some more when I see a nice one!! lol

It is safe to frag them mate. Just make sure you wear gloves and eye protection (they can squirt when you cut them) and make sure you wash your hands well before touch your mouth face or eyes.
