How To Recreate The Perfect Saltwater Light

Is it possible?

What makes the light look so good in marine tanks?

How is the water so clear?

Is it possibe to get it right on a tropical tank?

Does anyone even know what im talking about
its just the colour, and the clear look is given by halides or LED's

you could try a 20k bulb and a 10k bulb and that should give you a good colour

it all depends one what you have to spend, you could try and find a 14k 15 watt bulb, or you could go LED's or halide (but you would be plagued with algae.

heres a marine white bulb

heres an actinic

you could go marine white and then get a strip of blue LED's from ebay, that would give you that shimmer
