i just got two 1200 maxijet that produce about 296 gph and i have a fluval 404 that produce 100 gph so my question is whre is the best spot to place my powerheads and valve for my canister filter to prevent dead sport and to have a great wave production i also bought a wavemaker outlet

Place them somewhere that will produce no dead spots.

You should really try to ask more questions in a single topic, rather than making a thousand of them.

You will need more turnover than that IMO

You need about 20 times your tank volume

55G x 20 = 1100 gph

At the mo you have 396 gph which is way short

You are going to want to put the first power head on the left side of the tank, about three inches from the top, 5 from the front, angled down 12 deg and back 25" then the second powerhead you want to put upside down with the outlet 6" from the bottom, 16" from the right with the outlet level and pointed once again 25 Deg to the right, Then you want to put the canister filter with the inlet on the left side and the outlet in the upper right corner. Oh wait no, your tank is different to every one elses, you need to make the descision as to how to best avoid dead spots, but don't worry, its not that hard. If there were one configuration that worked it would be on the same FAQ thet told you to avoid dead spots, unless you can somehow give us a three Dimensional description of not only the surface of your rock work but also the internal structure we can't even begin to help you choose were to lay them out. But I second Chacs notion about more turn over, salt water ripps by reefs, it doesn't drift by except in sheltered lagoons.
