Hi, could someone please advise me on the best way to package shrimp if I am posting using recorded first class delivery? How much water? What sort of container? Do I need a heat pack? If so, where can I get heat packs from?

Thanks!

hello chris i recommend kordon breathable bags and put small pieces of sponge or plant for the shrimp to hold on to.heat packs for bad backs etc look in cheap bargain shops or chemists they are the same as the expensive ones from lfs.i had some shrimp deliverd yesterday in a poly box bags wrapped in newspaper ,also the heat pack had some paper wrapped around it and taped to the lid. the golden rule is wath weath forcasts and avoid frosts the kordon bag's don't float and shrimp/fish need to be put in a different bag when accliamatising to new tank. hope this helps.
