Hi,I was thinking of breeding these lovely fish,And have been reading about breeding them for absolute months!I know ive asked before but this time i am realy considering it.My question is how could i seperate the males.Once spawned and needing to be seperated.I have a few ideas but cant make up my mind which is better. As you can see i live in england so it will be something that i can heat up with a heater.E.G get a big tank heat it and put jars in so the water round it will get heated up etc.If you have any ideas please say them i realy need some ideas.

well, depending on how many males you get you could always just buy a box of glasses and fill them up to match the water level... hmm other than that you could build a wooden fram with a bunch of small squares and just put it into the tank so the males are stuck in the squares but the females have like half the tank to themselves...

or you could properly so that the fish have a decent living space....

I was thinking about getting a tank. Then putting a grill about 5-6inch off the bottom so i can filter it and heat it.Then make lots of squares at the top.Would pint glasses be a good idea?Or are they to small?

they will just get stressed cos theyll be able to see each other

I heard that when you move the yound males ,they should be able to see one another to lessen the stress of being moved. But could pint glasses work?
