Im trying to figure out the easiest way to level out my gravel in my new 150?

Any ideas?

does it have to be exactly level? can't you just push it with your hands?

use a long straight stick :/

I use hands, too.

By the way, if you're talking about initial setup, you might consider having the gravel thicker at the back than in the front. Many people think a sloping bottom will give the tank a nicer look of "depth".

i use artificial wave action to get my gravel/sand nice and smooth (the wave is my hand waving the water over the bottom)

Use your hands or a wooden stick is good but I wouldn't worry. Mine was depper at the back but now it is all over the place because of the Catfish, Clown Loach, Eel, BGK etc.

:fish: most gravel will end up at one level anyway unless you silicon small strips of glass(on its side) to the bottom of the tank to hold it in place :D
