I've got them in my nano tank, which being as small as it is, should be easier to battle them there ( I've never been able to completely rid a tank of them ) because of the size and location, I was able to use my finger, and remove some egg masses, but I'm curious how resistant they are??? will they die, when they dry out, or do I need to keep a jar of bleach to put them in, to make sure they are dead??? I've had them show up in outside tanks, isolated from my aquariums, so if they are just showing up from nature, I just want to make sure the eggs are dead, and not climbing out of the garbage, and showing up somewhere else...

I've got a number of Botia lohachata in several tanks to get rid of those pest snails. And in other tanks, I've got those assasin snails to fight these pest snails.

Pea puffers work well too, and unless you have any shrimp (it will kill them) copper will work too, but I’d still do some more research into that area.

in my nano tank it's too small for the traditional methods, I can remove the snails and eggs by hand easily... i just want to dispose of the eggs, where I can insure death... if I throw them in the garbage, and they hatch out, out of the water, and go out into the yard, and end up in my outdoor tanks... that's not what I'm after... I'm certainly not flushing them, and sending them to my septic tank, though lord knows there are probably already millions there, as that's where most of my water change water ends up, thought about a small jar of bleach clearly marked snail killer no aquarium use, close to the nano tank to drop any snails or egg clutches into, putting a definite end to them...

I do have a fire place but use it only occasionally, and I normally have burn able garbage here on the farm, but I wouldn't want the eggs hatching and escaping the cans, between burnings

That's one of my reasons why I won't use puffers...
