How To Get A Mated Pair?

Well I'm selling my angels to a friend as he really likes them, and tbh I've seen some nicer ones since buying them. I'm wanting to buy them at a young age, about 6 months.

My question is, how do I go about getting a mated pair? I'm guessing its along the lines of putting a few in and letting them pair of naturally? But how many should I start with?

A group of 6 is usually the number recommended for most species.

Yep, thats the recommended way. Much better than getting a single male and female, putting them in a tank and hope it works out.
