with great care first you will need a stanly knife to cut the silicon away you will have to remove all traces of any glass that needs replacing (hope you dont have to) then you will need to replace with same size glass then you will have to hold it in place so you can re silicon only use aquarium grade silicon) the new glass into place (selotape can be used to hold it into place) you then need to wet your finger & run it along the bead of silicon the tank then needs to be left to cure useually 24hrs hope this helps but i also hope you dont need to do it :D

GE Silicon 1 is quite safe for aquarium use as well.

100% silicon is just fine. however, DO NOT USE anything that says mildew or fungus resistant because it contains fungicides that will leech into your tank and kill fish.

Allow 48 hours for your silicon to set and you should be fine. there are lots of tips concerning how to get a solid coverage and straight lines. If you find you need to replace the glass for sure just speak up and I'm sure we can all offer tips.

If the front or back panel breaks, it can be repaired as already described. If one of the end panels need replacing, you will need to fit the new panel on the outer edges of the other three pieces, not between the front and back (you would be unable to get a film of silicion between the 2 faces). Be sure to ask for high modulus silicon, not low.
