Here's what I have:

7 honey gouramis - mostly eat at surface and top half of water column
2 german blue rams(m/f) - eat at surface, all water column, and substrate :)
11 ember tetras eat in the water column
6 corys - mostly eat from substrate and driftwood, etc.

So far, I have no problems in the tank with aggression - not even at feeding time, but I don't think all the ember tetras get food every feeding.
How do I make sure that they're getting enough to eat?

Btw, this is a really nice combo of fish. The colors go nicely together, and the level of activity is perfect, imo. I am really loving this grouping.

i reccomend getting the stuff, then soak it in the water for a few secs, and let it sink , the gouramis can get a bit too...
works for me, guppies and cories

With that combination of fish, I would feed half sinking pellets and half floating food. Soak the pellets before adding them so they sink quickly. Crush floating food so there are a lot more bits; the greedy fish won't be able to catch them as quickly so the slower feeders will have a chance. Drop the floating food in at one end of the tank, then the soaked pellets at the opposite end.
