How to feed snail with betta

Hey guys, so I have a 10 gallon tank with a betta and a nerite snail. I keep trying to feed the nerite but my betta is a pig and wants to eat it’s food (which isn’t good for him) and the snail can’t eat. I mean, the snail does have some algae to eat but he’s probably starving! Does anyone have any suggestions?

If your tank is well established, your snail will probably find enough to eat in the biofilm/aufwuchs. I hardly ever intentionally feed my snails. I just feed the tank, and the snails find what they need.

yes my mystery snail is always starving because my fish steal all the food
what i do is i put the mystery snail in a breederbox and feed him that way
or you can put your betta in a container temporarily

I have nerite snails and have never fed them. I've had the occasional one which didn't live very long but most of them have lived for years on whatever they can find in the tank.
