Hello all,

I have my tanks on plain rod iron stands. They are plain, drab, boring, but worse of all, you can see all tubings, power cords, strips and canisters under the tank.

Anybody know of some way to cover all this up without making it a major project?

Go to the craft store or an old closet :p and find a unique peice of fabric or sheet, Cut it to fit or maybe cut smaller peices of another kind of fabric and glue or sew it on there in shapes of fish! :D

or to simplify the above idea, get some fabric you like, or an old sheet, cut it fit the front and sides of the stand. get some stick on velco, stick it to the stand, attach to fabric, press fabric to stand, poof, instant fairly easy cover up job.

You said there are poles, I would do the same thing I do around my desk for cords, Zip Ties.

You can pick up a back at your local auto parts store for less than $5 USD and have some left over when your done. :)

They work perfect and you can run all the cords down your legs for your stand, zip tie them, and walla they are out of the way.

Then take the other advice of fabric and duct tape and put a nice fabric around the legs. :)

You could so them, duct tape is just faster, but also messier if you ever want to undo it. :(
