i have a 29 gal with 2 angels(will be 3 eventualy), 1 rubber lip plec, and 5 albino corries. i was wondering what i should do to induce breeding behaviors into my corries. also will it effect my angels or the plec at all? your help is much appreciated.

thanks. will that affect the angels or the plec at all?

btw its a hit or miss with the angels. i just got the 3rd one last night and they all get along but if 2 form a pair i will rehome the 3rd to be on the safe side.

I am not sure how hardy they are...To breed cories you basically need to lower the water level alot, do a massive water change with 10 F colder water and make the water have a pH of slightly acidic.

The only real problem would be the water temp...it would be too cold for your fish I think.

Do you have an empty 10 gallon tank? A 10 gallon would be perfect for breeding cories. You could use a 5 gallon also.

i dont have any empty tanks atm. i have 2 tens that will be empty eventually so i could use them once they are.
