How To A Take Out The Ro Unit?

I'm selling everything, but I don't know how to disconnect the RO unit. It's an osmotics one, screwed into the copper pipe under the sink, and the plastic waste pipe. If I screw everything back out, I'll have holes! This is probably super simple and I'm gonna look like a fool, but eh, I'll risk it!
 
Turn the water off
Then something like plumbers mait should block the holes. You can buy little sticks of a putty thing that is meant to stop little leaks in copper aswel. Or just cut the section with the holes out with a pipe slice and put a flexi connector in with two compresion ends.
