how t get rid of

i have a bad case of brown algae it only takes about a day to cover the glass and all the fake plants and rocks any ideas plz

Is it "brown" algae or blue-algae (that can look like brown-algae too).

How old is you tank? Your water param.? If the tank is new, brown algea is common (brown algae is like pioneer "plant"). Or if your tank is old and water values are good, then brown algae is caused e.g. by too little light.

You didn't give any specific information of your tank: size, light, water values, fishes, water changes etc...

What are you tank readings (mainly check phosphate levels)?

According to your tank size, get plecos! I find that really helps with the algae on my tank. Plecos are amazing algae eaters. So go ahead and get a couple of them of something.
