Hi there

I had some cory eggs which I saved...they hatched....I have them in a breeder net. They hatched on Thursday...how often should I feed them? I have Liquifry 1 and also Hikari first bites...I have some molly and platy fry and feed them about 4 times a day...so do I follow suit with the cory babies?

Also has anyone any pics of any cory fry at about a week or 2 weeks old? I have saved these eggs for a friend of mine...I was going to leave them, I want to know when they will be big enough to catch in a net...as at the moment they are like little dots...lol.

hi debbie888
congrats on the wriglers :good:
Liquifry no 1 and Hikari first bites is the next best thing to bbs and micro worms i raised mine on Liquifry no 1 and Hikari first bites with nearly 100% survival.
keep feeding them on this for 1 week then after that loose the Liquifry and get some king british pellets or any other catfish pellet, crush them with a rolling pin to a fine dust mix with flake and Hikari first bites feed them this all the time untill they can eat the pellets them selfs with no problems ,
at week 1- 2 as a bonus feed them frozen blood worm every 3 days.
you should feed them now first thing in the morning after a water change then last thing at night so twice a day for the first week then 3 times a day after 7 days

Congratulations!

This IS the month for eggs.

You won't need to feed them for several days, at least until their eggs sacs are gone.

Drewry's the man for fry.

My only comment/clarification is that be careful with the blood worms; with mine, right out of the pack, the worms are way to big and I need to cut them up, otherwise they just sit at the bottom of the tank. Maybe it's only because mine are napoensis, but I thought you should know.

Good luck and cheers.

Never mind the eggs-check out the labrador with the yo yo -wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol :hyper:

What's so wicked about a Lab and a yo-yo?

My border collie does my tax returns and consults at the Department of Revenue... :p
