I'd like to knows! :D

I, myself, try to make my trip to Big Al's a weekly occurence.... If I can't go one weekend for whatever reason, that's fine; but, usually, it's convenient for checking out new stock every weekend. :3

Last week, when I went, I bought some WCMM. This week, I got some feeder (not anymores :p ) guppy fry! ^^; It's awesome! :D I also got some gravel for Mr. Wimpy Fish's tank (switching it over to gravel; when I get the new filter and divider put in, then it will be rather convenient ^^;), and a filter, and.... My Mom got some more filter carbon. :D Next week, from 6:00 PM to midnight, is their Midnight Madness sale where everything is going to be up to 75 % off.... I can't wait to go!! I might actually get my 30-gallon *THERE*!! ^^; Well, actually; at the store it's a 29-gallon.... But, still; same thing, right?! XD

I try to go atleast once every 2 weeks.

Once every 2 weeks Or so. I love it when I need to get dog food it's the perfect excuse.

I go when I am out of frozen treats for my fish. The rest of the time I end up working through my local fish club for fish or use on line vendors for hardware and commercially packaged food.Fish at the club from other breeders are always better than Malayasian imports sold at my LFS.

I have a wonderful LFS, I cant praise it enough, the shop is small, but really well stocked & cared for & the staff are lovely.

I go every weekend & sometimes once in the week too, I'm a big internet shopper, but am trying to do that less & support my LFS more.

I'd hate to see my LFS close down as others across the country are doing, so I shop there whenever I can, even if it costs me that little bit more.

last sunday, monday and tuesday i was there ( its 20 miles away) spent over £300 then thursday reallised i need a bigger tank ( for what i had bought) so that day i spent a further £300 on the tank .........YES i am avoiding the bank manager like the plague

before i found the new lfs the others around me i didnt consider to be worth getting in the car for.. would only go to break up the day for a look ( tho never came away empty handed) but this one is definately worth the trip.. its the best one i have ever been too..... its Maidenhead Aquatics in Morganstown, cardiff if anyone wants to have a look.i wont be there this weekend as i hurt my back setting up the new tank.. but if i could i would!!

When I first got my tank I was always at my LFS poking around and asking stuff , think they thought I was after a job. Now I try to make an excuse and go to any LFS whenever we are out and about , just like a wee nosey and see what they have , it gives you an oppertunity to see different species in the flesh.......... :good:

Man I am so glad that I am not the only one that goes in once a week! I allways get a sarcastic "see you next week" when ever I leave now... its meant well but its a bit like do you want my money or not :p

Every 2-3 weeks roughly. I've been today and bought some shrimp and more plants for Bronson's tank. I have a happy mistake too! I asked for 2 cherry and 1 bee shrimp, since the crystal reds were £6.99 each!!!!! >.< But the guy accidentally gave me a CR instead of a cherry so I have one of each :hyper: Bronson did have a go at the bee shrimp when I let it go but hes ignoring it now. He has a total of 2 cherries ( he had one already ) , 1 bee and one CR . There's plenty of places to hide for them anyway. And I got some Hikari shrimp food too.

I have several LFS near me, some closer than others, (all within a 30 minute drive though), I often do a 'round' trip to each of them on a weekend afternoon at least once a month, sometimes more, often I dont buy much unless something catches my eye, but I like to go and see what new stock they have and just browse. Some women like to (window) shop for clothes/shoes, I personally hate clothes shopping, but can happily waste many happy hours starring into fish tanks :p

My mother is the worst. She doesn't have any tanks of her own, and won't allow me any more but will happliy watch my fish. When we go to the LFS though, you have to drag her away from the SW section if they have seahorses because she adores them and will stay there all day if you let her.

Plus she climbs on the little steps they use to reach the taller tanks in order to watch the fish and shrimp in the upper levels, and exclaims loudly like " OOOH look at this what is it??? Ooooh! Look it's eating/digging ect ! " *Facepalm* I never thought I'd get her out of the shop when they had Leaf fish in stock. She saw one yawn/open it's huge mouth ( it was fascinating I admit) and went into paroxyms of delight! I'd be tempted to have one when all the occupants of my 30 gal have finally expired but then she'd never get out of my bedroom!

First off i love that you used the word Paroxysm

i have been at least once a week since i started fish keeping, granted that was only a couple months back now, its funny because a few of the staff know me by name at Pisces Pet Emporium, i also go to look at puppies... soon i will be moving and can get a dog too.. woohoo... i also try to hit up Big Al's for the shark feeding whenever i can, they get quite the crowd. I dont think i have ever come home empty handed, yesterday i went to pick up some Ich Treatment meds and spent almost $200 on other random stuff since i am setting up a second tank right now and planning for a third. And i love checking out stock even though i am not getting anything for a while and last weekend i found another LFS that specialises in Chiclids some of them are pretty cool, i had never thought about them before because most of the ones at the other stores were not as "pretty" but the new store has some cool ones so will probably be back there.
