How Often And How Much To Feed Cherry Shrimp

its all there in the title really
i have 3 cherry shrimp and i feed the hikari algea waffers,1/4 every 2 days
is this enough or to much?
the pack says take it out after 2 hours but it normaly takes over 2 hours for them to find it lol

that's what i was feeding to my cherrys, but they had trouble shedding and quite a few died

i'd suggest crab and lobster pellets, or something with a lot of calcium

would the shrimps be at risk from being smothered by a snail at feeding time if they both go for the same food?

nope, the snails are incredibly slow, and the shrimp can be scarily fast lol
