I also wanted to remove the mollies and add some Endlers Livebearers with the Betta in a month or 2. How many endlers with the Betta?

I was really hoping to add Panda Cories but it seems like the can't be in the same temp as the Betta.
So my only other favorable choice seems to be Endlers.

you can keep most cories (including pandas) in a tank around 73-80 deg. F (22.7 - 26.6 deg.C) and Bettas need to be kept in a tank 75 - 80deg. F (23.8 - 26.6 deg.C) according to all the care sheets I've seen. I'm sure you could find and 'overlap' temperature at around 77 deg.F (25 deg.C), I'm sure. :)

Yay

! I really love those fish. How many can I keep with my Betta? What gender?

I need a good answer within 1h. So they're having a 25% off sale on Potted Plants at Big Al's and I wanted to know what carpet plant would complement my Micro Sword Narrow Leaf. What plants do you think are good?

Here's a pic from this morning:

-Removed Mollies
-Added plants to keep Betta from attacking Mollies (I can remove them now)
-Cup and rock to reduce current (ANY current reducing suggestions will be welcome as I have to fix the sand 2 times EVERY day)
- Treated for Ich (Which he has. It turned my silicone a cool blue color)
- Will divide tank in half after quarantine to share with my new Betta

What did you do with the mollies?

Keep in mind that if you get a group of cory (should be at least 6) that they will root around the sand and mix it up. Also, if you're planning to cover the whole bottom with planted material the cory will not do well.

I brang the mollies to Big Al's and I'm not buying cories because the tank will be split among 2 Bettas. Maybe an Endler or 2 on each side but not likely. The new Betta seems pretty docile but I'm not sure yet.
