Everytime I pass my tank, my angels start to flap around seem to be wanting food. All the time. The only time my angels don't seem to be interested in food is at late nightime. How much am I meant to actually feed them?

my angels are pretty much the same, but they still only get fed a pinch or two when i get home from work, as the general rule says, just enough for them to eat in a minute or two.
but between them and the plattys that can be a lot of food on an evening.
i also sometimes give them a pinch of something on a morning before i leave the house, but with it being so dark now most of the fish are 'sleeping'.
my angels will even eat off the bottom when i put an algae tab in for the corys.
maybe i am underfeeding them, maybe they are greedy.
but a week ago i added 10 neon tetra, and still have 10 neons despite everyones warnings ;-)

I have 4 angels and they are exactley the same. Everytime I go near the tank the wiggle at the front and follow me passed the tank.

I feed mine twice a day, a little in the morning before I go to work and then some frozen food in the evening.

They are a greedy fish and as long as they dont look thin or ill then I would say they are fine with what you are feeding them.

Cichlids are pigs - there is no cichlid that exists that does not recognize the hobbiests as the food source and proceed to beg. They will eat much more then what's good for them. It's up to us to know when to say no ;)
