and whats best to feed them?

am about to receive a large (35/40cm?) common plec and wondered whats the best food to ensure good health?
im guessing algae wafers etc and lots of vegetables?if so which veg is best? is their diet the same as when they are smaller (have only ever had small ones, bristlenoses etc) or do big fish need more protein?
i have here also a great big bag of sinking catfish pellets, will they eat them too?

yes mine eat sinking earthworm pellet's,cucumber, lettuce, algae wafer's he's a wopper and alway's seem to munch on whatever i give him :good:

how's trick's? did you get those dwarf snakehead's?

never got any snakeheads, decided to wait until we move and see which tanks we have goin,g spare then :)

pleco has just been delivered.....what a whopper! i think my two metre tank is too small (poor bugger was in a 1m tank) so he'll go in with the oscars once we move!
will get some pics up shortly :)

things are good with me, seems like we can move in 2 weeks not the 8 weeks we though so am slowly preparing and figuring out how to move 200+ fish as quick as possible and as stressfree for them as poss!! any ideas please do tell!!
