How Much Sand?

Does anybody know how many lbs of sand for a 4" bed in a 55gallon(48"x12")

Why 4"? Not enough for a DSB and unusually deep for a normal sand bed... Because they need to really be more like 8-10" deep minimum, DSB's are usually done remotely

Usually means away from the display tank, for example like a sump or hang on refugium.
